Work schedule in China during the New Year
Dear Clients!
We would like to inform you about the upcoming Chinese New Year Festival, which will last from 24.01.2020 to 30.01.2020. This is the longest and the most important holiday in China.
In this regard we would like to provide you with the following information:
- The last week before the holidays (13.01.2020 to 24.01.2020).
All warehouses, transit points and ports will be overloaded. Consequently, the risk of all kinds of delays is greatly increased, therefore:
– after 13.01.2020 only shipments from Guangdong province are possible.
– 13.01.2020 is the latest possible date for sea freight.
– 20.01.2020 is the latest possible date for air freight.
It would be preferable to pick up the shipment at our warehouse beforehand to get it cleared by customs before the New Year Festival begins.
- Holidays week, from 24.01.2020 to 30.01.2020.
These are official non-working days, so all business requests most probably will be ignored during this period.
- During the first working week after the holidays expect delays in responses from the suppliers. All the employees will be overloaded with pending cases from the holiday period.
