Chinese New Year: Work Schedule and Important Recommendations

The FBAHELP team extends warm wishes to everyone as we embark on the new year! May 2025 bring you stability, new achievements, and success in your business endeavors.

Now is the time to prepare for the most significant event for businesses connected to China — Chinese New Year, which begins this year on January 29. This major holiday in the Middle Kingdom sees the entire country go on holiday, with business operations temporarily halting.

Final Deadlines for Cargo Shipments Before the Holidays

All warehouses, transit points and ports will be overloaded during the pre-holiday week. Consequently, the risk of all kinds of delays is greatly increased, therefore:

  • Holidays in China will last from January 25 to February 9 inclusive.

  • The last day for dispatching cargo from the warehouse is January 24.

To minimize the risk of delays, we recommend preparing your shipments for dispatch no later than January 18

Key Points to Keep in Mind:
  • High logistics workload: Cargo shipped between January 20 and January 24 may encounter delays during processing at ports and airports.
  • Complete production halt: During the holiday period (January 25 to February 9), most factories, warehouses, and logistics hubs in China will be closed.

We remind you that greeting your Chinese partners for this important holiday is not only a sign of respect but also a great way to strengthen business relationships.

Happy Year of the Green Wood Snake! In Chinese culture, it is believed that this year will bring success, growth, wisdom, and flexibility to help tackle any challenges that come your way.
