Pre-shipment factory inspection framework

Upon receiving the request for pre-shipment inspection, we coordinate the time of our arrival at the factory with you and the supplier. We suggest to perform quality control inspections in China after the goods are ready for shipment and before 70% payment is made (in case you work with the supplier according to standard payment terms – 30% in advance and 70% after the shipment is ready). The benefits are obvious: the supplier doesn’t receive payment until the inspection is performed and he is motivated to eliminate all the defects as quickly as possible.

At the appointed time the inspector arrives at the factory, makes photos of the production site, meets your manager and the head of the factory (if possible). After that he examines the goods for the compliance with Amazon standards – the presence of all the necessary labels, barcodes, the dimensions, weight and quality of the cartons.

The next stage is the quality control inspection of the products themselves. It is highly desirable that you send us inspection guidelines, stating all the important points to pay attention to. In case we do not receive guidelines from you, the inspector acts according to our standard algorithm and common sense.

We perform pre-shipment inspections in China in LIVE format, so that you can have full control over the whole process and be aware of the real state of affairs with your goods.

The items for inspection are taken randomly from different cartons. Their quantity is determined by AQL standards and the total amount of the goods in the consignment. Our main goal is to identify potential problems with defects, low quality, inappropriate packaging before your goods leave the factory in China. This is the essence of any pre-shipment inspection. If there is any evidence of defects or irregularities the inspector contacts you at once. In coordination with you he can negotiate all the details concerning their correction with the supplier. In case of systematic defects, the supplier must eliminate all of them and repeat the inspection at his own expense.

Normally the inspection of 5-10% of the items is enough to draw a conclusion about the overall quality of the goods. In any case, the inspector won’t leave the factory without providing a complete picture of the state of affairs with your shipment.
